A British cat returned home safely after making a 460-mile round trip to London.

Pet tabby Silver went missing in Hapton, Lancashire and owners Jim and Angela Jones were "distraught" when they couldn't find her.

However, they received a call to say the cat had been found in London.

But Silver managed to escape from her rescuers and walked home on her own.
