Why would you have a bolt on turbo, when the R34 comes stock twin-turboed?
Anyways, its already AWD, putting out a decent amount of power. You could always start building up the internals. New rods, pistons, crankshaft to later put on bigger turbos and kick up the boost. Or if risky, get a boost controller and kick up the boost on the stock internals (though not really safe). With a car like that, there isn't much you can do for power if you aren't willing to put out a decent amount of money. |

Sounds suspicious - Gearheads know it's spelled dyno, and as mentioned, the whole "bolt on turbo" thing.
As for the question - "Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?"
A cheap way to quicker 60 foot's is gears. Might be a bit of a trick for AWD though.
Otherwise, the cheapest of all is a combination driver mod and weight reduction. Put a better driver in and it'll be quicker. Pull weight out and it'll be quicker. Put yourself on a diet (if you insist on being the driver), and chuck anything you don't actually NEED.
Other options -
- Stand-alone ECU to let you tweak the paramaters while you dial up the boost (probably need some octane boosters as well).
- Nitrous
Beyond that, you're getting into even bigger money. |
