I think all the recent debate the last few years is because it seems to be in to do everything "natural", even if it makes no sense.
The above satire on the "protection" issue points out how wacky the arguments have gotten recently. It's "unnatural" to cut the umbilical cord too, so why not just leave that on?
There are all sorts of things we do that are "not natural", that make total sense.
Yes, there certainly are reasons to get cut.
Sure, there are doctors who say it's unnecessary, just like there are doctors who say all sorts of things that happen to be wrong.
Its a fad to say it's unnecessary.
The fact is, that penile cancer is unheard of in cut men.
The whole arument of "just wash it with soap & water, and you won't have any problems" is absurd.
You can't just yank your spanky out anywhere you are, dangle it over a sink & start scrubbing, like in public restrooms, for instance.
The fact is, the foreskin traps bacteria, and 99% of the time, you can't do anything about it, so you become a walking cheese factory, like it or not.
Sorry you women, but you simply can't comment on this, because you have no idea how the mechanics of it work.
The last time I had an HIV test the doctor explained to me HIV is mainly contracted through blood. Cut men are less likely to get microscopic tears in their foreskin for the simple reason, they dont have a foreskin.
Circumcision can reduce the rate of HIV infections among heterosexual men by around 60%, a study suggests.
The South African study, reported in Public Library of Science Medicine, found it had a protective effect for some of the 3,280 young men involved.
Circumcision is thought to help protect against HIV because cells under the foreskin are vulnerable to the virus.
UK experts warned some circumcised men in the study still became infected and condoms offered the best protection.
HIV infection rates are lower among groups in Africa who practise circumcision, but it was not known if this was due to cultural differences.

When the foreskin is removed, the skin on the head of the penis becomes less sensitive and so less likely to bleed, thereby reducing the risk of infection.
Studies in Uganda and in Kenya are also investigating the link.
Trial stopped
The South African trial, conducted by a team of French and South African researchers and sponsored by ANRS (the French National Agency of Research on Aids), took place in the Orange Farm area near Johannesburg, where male circumcision in adulthood is a common but not universal practice.
Just under 3,280 young, sexually active, uncircumcised, heterosexual men who took part in the study were offered the chance to be circumcised and then monitored for HIV infection.
Just under half chose to be circumcised.
The researchers planned to test all participants for HIV at three, 12 and 21 months, to see whether there was a difference in the rate of new infections between the two groups.
However, after 18 months, the number of new HIV infections in the control group was 49, compared with 20 in the treatment group.
The researchers decided at this point it would be unethical to continue the study.
It was stopped and the uncircumcised men were offered circumcision.
UNAids has said the trial found promising results, but more work needs to be done to confirm its findings and "whether or not the results have more general application."
'Not a condom substitute'
Keith Alcorn, of the National Aids Manual, said: "Although this study showed that men who were circumcised were less likely to become infected with HIV, it must be stressed that circumcised men did become infected in this study, and that circumcision does not provide total protection against HIV.
"I don't think that any country will be moving towards promotion of circumcision for HIV prevention on these results alone.
"Two further studies in Kenya and Uganda have yet to be completed, and will give us more information."
Deborah Jack, chief executive of the National Aids Trust, added: "There is a danger that people who have been circumcised will feel that they are fully protected from HIV when they are not.
"We need more research and clear guidance, as circumcision can never be a substitute for condom use."

As a soon-to-be doctor I have to mention that 'dumbfook' is right- STIs (as they're called now- not STDs) are less frequent in circumcised men- there's lots of evidence to support this.
My opinion is that it's a lifestyle/cultural/medical choice that everyone is entitled to make. My personal opinion- I prefer circumcised- hubby is circumcised and I will probably get my future son(s) circumcised because it is much safer to have it as a baby than later on in life.

Is there any difference in cut and uncut penis's when you are having sex? Could you tell the difference if you couldt see?
I will definitely agree that girls like circumcised just as much as uncircumcised. I couldn't imagine enjoying giving oral to an uncircumcised one...
I couldnt imagine it either..yeh as said above..i think its better because theres a lack of cheese..it's more hygenic and i think it would be awkward with a foreskin..from what ive been told from a guy..its a better sensation for him without one too...as the penis is more sensitive..? But to be honest..i wouldnt really care if theres foreskin or not..it still does the same job
sorry but how will cutting off the foreskin stop dirt being traPED UNDER THE REST OF IT.

And just to add, the anti-circ sites have LOADS of lies on them. Like I've said, I've been on both sides of the fence. I know what it's like either way.
Only thing I lost from been cut, it's that jerking off was a little easier before. I jerked off too much anyway.
But I gained so much.
The "unnatural" arguement IS ridiculous. Look around you right now, look in front of you ecspecially. See anything natural?
