Sharing is like anything else in life;
If done correctly, it can be great. If done incorrectly, it can be a disaster.

It's a terrific life experience, if everything is right; nobody has diseases, everyone is respectful of each other, everyone has talked everything out so nobody has different expectations, and that either spouse can stop it at any time, and if nobody is going to be jealous.

My wife and I have been together for over 20 years and enjoy excellent sex.

If I were to have sex with someone else, I would be in big trouble.

If she had an affair, which I found out about, I would be torn between the betrayal and the fact that it would arouse me to think of her with someone else.
