What do people think of these possible names my wife and I have discussed for our "bump":

For a boy:

Jamie
Alexander
Marshall
Robert
Robin
Steven/Stephen

For a girl:

Rebecca
Lauren
Charlotte
Natalie

Myron is prohibited from replying since "tumour" is not on the list of possible names. Rolling Eyes

If I had children (which I am about to as I am impregnating many women as we speak) I would go for Nathan and Jessica. Charlotte is nice though and Jamie.

I don't have kids so I'm not much of an oracle on this, but I suppose the trick is to find a name they'll like rather than be embarrassed by about 15 years down the line ( so not Chardonnay then), and one which shortens well for their future friends to call them by.

Alexander sounds good and Robin/Robert will become Rob or even Bob. Marshall sounds a bit American and is also the name of a guitar amp!

Charlotte and maybe Lauren are nice. At the moment Natalie sounds a bit Chavvy, but who knows in 15-20 years?

(Probably not Fred though - and won't Steven become Steve Wink )

Colonel, it may not mean much coming from me, but my preferences ar Robert for boy and Rebecca for a girl. I dislike Steven/Stephen with a passion. Any of the girls names are very nice.
