hasnt it flew over

Postby xXx.Lesley.xXx on Sat Aug 06, 2005 11:34 am

Well I have only 11 weeks to go till the big day. Frightening isn't it!!!

I can't believe how quick it has gone. I found out when I was only 4 weeks gone (but I thought I was more) and that is when I first joined this forum.

I went into labour about 3 week ago but luckily they managed to stop it, and I've had a few more scares when I thought my waters had broke but they haven't. I am still unsure as to what it was that was causing the wetness (sorry if it sounds rude :p ) but everything is going fine :D

Hey Leslie! I haven't been on here for ages so it's good to hear you're going well and that your early labour was sorted out and you're feeling well.

I've got ten weeks to go now, so we're in the home stretch eh?

Make sure you keep us all up to date!

I agree i can't believe how quick it's gone! I've got five weeks left.

Have been waiting for it to slow down, and my friends all keep asking me if i'm fed up yet, but it's going to quick!

Lesley do you think it's because it's not your first? my first pregnancy went really slowly all the way through, but this time is so different. do you think it's because you have other things to concentrate on, like looking after the older ones etc?

Good to know things calmed down for you, hope all goes well in the futre. X

Don't blame you for having an attack of the nerves!

I can't decide which is better, last time when i hadn't a clue how much it would hurt and blindly believed i could cope without pain relief (had pethadine and gas and air in the end) or this time knowing what's coming, and what to expect!

I'm just starting to feel those first flutterings of nerves but i'm sure with only ten days left i'll be stating that i've changed my mind and i'd like someone else to give birth for me!

I think your 1st is the worst. I had loads of pain relief with my 1st, then nothing with my 2nd. I am having nothing again this time.

It isn't as bad as people try to make it out to be. To be able to cope with the pain with no pain relief you need to concentrate on the contraction when it comes, and forget about what is ahead. Take each as it comes and you will be able to manage.

9 days :D :D YAY!!! Finally down to single figures :D

LOL! I think I'll have other things to worry about when labour happens!

When I'm home with the baby I will post and let you all know. But it won't be a main priority so it might not be til the baby is a few days/weeks old. Depends on when I have he time.
