Boobs

Postby SarahSmiff on Thu Oct 13, 2005 10:59 am

I am 8 months pregnant and my boobs are really hot and sore all the time. Is this normal? I thought they only got ready soon as baby is born.

Hi Sarah,

It says on all the pregnancy websites that that is a first symptom of pregnancy. I am hoping to be pregnant and My boos have been hurting for about 2 weeks and I'm meant to be due on period Sunday. So im hoping that I wont come on.

When did you find out you were pregnant? I did a test last night, the ones you can do 4 days early but it said no. :o(

Hi Liss

Found out I was pregnant way back in March - not long to go now. Sore boobs have not been a problem till now. Find my midwife and GP not much help so that is why I have posted my message. I have come to the conclusion it is normal along with all the other aches and pains.

I did a test early and it came out negative - but I was pregnant! I did it a few weeks later and it was very positive. I think its all down to how strong your hormones are at the time. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

My boobs hurt, and have done for a while now. I have found gently massaging them helps a lot. However the last couple of weeks my nipples have become ittitating and itchy. Not a lot I can do about that except use nipple cream

this may sound daft but my health visitor when I was feeding my babies and my boobs were engorged they used to say cabbage leaves were the best thing they are shaped like a boob and if you put them in the fridge then use them they are really soothing and cool and they take the tenderness away dont know why but they do. Have a go you never know it may work for you :)
