Joe Perry: 'i Let Tyler Hog The Limelight'.... Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is happy to let bandmate Steven Tyler hog the limelight, because he's never wanted to be a part of the celebrity lifestyle.
The Sweet Emotion rocker is happy to just perform the veteran group's hits onstage.
He says, "Steven lives and breathes Aerosmith.
"For me, sometimes, it's just a way to make a living. I love playing rock and roll and collecting guitars, but I'm not part of that celebrity thing. I don't need that."
In other news the Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler finds it difficult balancing family life with the demands of touring, and has had to sacrifice many personal moments.
The Walk This Way rocker never thought he would still be touring so much at the age of 59.
Tyler says, "It's weird, all these years later and we're still massively at it.
