Harrison Ford would consider reprising his role as Jack Ryan.
The actor played the CIA agent in 'Patriot Games' and 'Clear and Present Danger' and says a return would be possible as the character has aged in the books the big-screen adaptations were based on.
He said: "That's a character that I think you could revisit acknowledging the passage of time and his increasing age. It wasn't age dependent; that character and his experiences were chockablock full of recipes for good engaging movies, so that's a character I wouldn't mind revisiting."
However, despite recently reprising his Indiana Jones role in 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', Harrison has ruled out a return for another of his iconic characters.
The 65-year-old actor insists he would never return to 'Star Wars', saying he no longer has any interest in his character.
He added: "Han Solo isn't interesting to me. It's a very narrow sort of utility in the story and it was great for my career and it was fun to play at the time but I wouldn't go back there again. Those pants!
"There are characters that it seems to me are worth re-exploring given that the story advances your understanding of the character, deepens your relationship to that character and takes you into an area that's new and unexpected.
