Lohan's Father Instructs Lawyers To Get The Truth About Lovechild....

Lindsay Lohan's father has hit back at reports suggesting he has confessed to fathering a lovechild, insisting he has instructed his lawyers to get to the truth.

Michael Lohan admits to romancing the teenage girl's mother, Kristi Kaufmann, in 1995 during a period when he and his now ex-wife Dina had separated.

He says, "I met Christie in 1982 in Houston. In 1995, when I was separated from Dina, she contacted me that she was moving to Long Island.

"She was going through a divorce at the time. I was with her for a week".

Lohan insists he had no idea that his one-time mistress had given birth to a child after their romance, and Christie hit him with the bombshell news while he was in prison, serving time for a Dui and other charges in 2005.

He adds, "She contacted me to say she had a paternity test done that revealed the child's father was not her husband. She said I was the only other man she had been with".

But Lohan, a born-again Christian, isn't convinced he is the father of the 13-year-old girl.
