Morgan Freeman is said to be puzzled by reports that he is splitting from his wife of 24 years and has denied all allegations of the split.
The acting legend, 71, and his wife Myrna - who share a home in rural Mississippi - were rumoured to have consulted a divorce lawyer after reports alleged the actor was unfaithful.
But Freeman was shocked to hear reports of his rumoured break-up from his wife when quizzed about his marital status at an event last week and insisted; "I don't know anything about that (filing for divorce)".
A spokesperson for the Wanted star added: "We officially have no comment".
Freeman married Myrna - his second wife - in June 1984. The actor also shares two children with his first wife of 12 years, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw.
