Outrageous funnyman Russell Brand has called on Chris Rock to advise him prior to his MTV Video Music Awards hosting stint this weekend.
Brand was a surprising choice to host the prizegiving, but he wants to impress - so he asked the one-time Oscars host for a few tips.
Brand says, "He said, 'Go in hard - no one cares about anything except you have to have a good beginning.'
"So I might take my shirt off and have lipstick on my nipples."
