"I told the film office that for every day they film, they should give us £50. They said they would give some money to charity instead but I said, 'No, charity starts at home, especially during the recession'!" Russell Brand to Revamp Moore's Arthur?... British funnyman Russell Brand is poised to reprise Dudley Moore's lovable rascal Arthur in a remake of the 1981 hit.
The actor/comedian is in talks to play the movie's title character, a fun-loving playboy who has to choose between a family fortune and his working-class girlfriend.
The late Moore won a Best Actor Oscar nomination for the original.
They said they would give some money to charity instead but I said, 'No, charity starts at home, especially during the recession'!
