Steve Carell has been injured on the set of his new movie, 'Evan Almighty'.
The '40-Year-Old Virgin' star sprained his ankle while shooting a scene involving sheep.
Carol McConnaughey, a spokesperson for Carell, said he was hurt while stepping out of a Hummer - surrounded by the woolly creatures - in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday (13.05.06).
She added that the 42-year-old was "doing fine" and was due back on set today (16.05.06).
'Evan Almighty' is the sequel to the 2003 film Jim Carrey, 'Bruce Almighty'.
In the follow-up, Carell - who plays arrogant newsreader, Evan Baxter - who is ordered by God, played by Morgan Freeman, to build and ark and fill it with animals.
'Evan Almighty' is due to be released in 2007.
