Healy's Burnt Toast Concert Trauma.
TRAVIS frontman FRAN HEALY nearly brought the world's biggest rock concert to an end after burning his toast backstage.
The Scottish DRIFTWOOD singer fused the lights at last year's (JUL05) Live 8 gig in Edinburgh, Scotland, when his toaster blew up.
His clumsy cooking skills meant ANNIE LENNOX, JAMES BROWN and other artists were forced to rehearse by candlelight. Fortunately the power was restored just before the performance started.
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's brother, MIKE, who was backstage watching the chaos, says, "It was the biggest concert in pop history but Fran nearly finished it by blowing all the bl**dy lights out after fusing his toaster."
