The Enemy's Tom Clarke sliced the end of his finger off on stage.
Despite the injury, the frontman continued playing until the band finished their set at Chicago's Lollapalooza festival last weekend - the British rockers' first American show - and refused to cancel further performances.
Tom revealed: "I managed to slash the end off my finger playing guitar, there was blood everywhere.
"The doctor looked at it after the set and said I'd have to miss a couple of gigs. I said I'd miss one but I'm not missing Los Angeles."
"I don't really care if my finger's p**sing blood - it's not the end of the world, it's an occupational hazard."
The Enemy pulled out of a planned Canadian show on Tuesday (05.08.08) but have since continued their run of concerts.
The 'Had Enough' hitmakers recently debuted a new song, 'Don't Break The Red Tape' at a homecoming show in Coventry, England.
