The Police and Beyonce Knowles are the highest paid musicians in the world, amassing fortunes of $115 million (£62 million) and $80 million (£43.2 million) respectively in the past 12 months.
The rockers - whose final reunion tour shows brought in $28.3 million (£15.3 million) alone - topped the new Forbes magazine poll to find the World's Best Paid Music Stars.
Other wealthy stars to make the top 10 include Justin Timberlake ($44 million/£23.7 million), Madonna ($40 million/£21.6 million) and reformed rockers Genesis ($31 million/£16.75 million).
The top 10 earners are as follows:

2. Beyonce Knowles - $80 million (£43.2 million)
3. Toby Keith - $48 million (£25.9 million)
4. Justin Timberlake - $44 million (£23.7 million)
5= Madonna - $40 million (£21.6 million)

8. Van Halen - $35 million (£18.9 million)
9. Genesis - $ 31 million (£16.75 million)
