Strokes Determined To Remain Together.
THE STROKES are confident they will enjoy a lengthy career after emerging relatively unscathed from the circus of their first five years together.
Guitarist NICK VALENSI is convinced the New York rockers, who release their third album FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF EARTH this month (JAN06), will not fall victim to the usual rock excesses.
He says, "We've definitely done our fair share of growing up, both as individuals and as a collective.
"At this point, there's nothing we haven't seen or heard or been put through."
