Jennifer Hudson will release her debut album in September.
The Oscar-winning actress and singer, discovered on 'American Idol', will release her self-titled debut in September.
Hudson has lined up an impressive list of producers for the album, including Timbaland, Robin Thicke, the Underdogs, Diane Warren and Christopher 'Tricky' Stewart, who co-produced Rihanna's number one single 'Umbrella'.
Hudson said: "I think people will be pleasantly surprised, because it shows a side of my work that no one has heard before."

The album will be preceded by a single, 'Spotlight', which was written by Ne-Yo. The song will be available for download from June 9.
Hudson has a role in 'Sex and the City: the Movie' which opens in cinemas this week, as well as in forthcoming film 'The Secret Life of Bees'. Hudson won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for her portrayal of Effie in the film 'Dream Girls'.
