Spain's King Juan Carlos celebrated his country's quarter-final win at Euro 2008 last night (22.06.08).
The monarch cheered and embraced those around him as the soccer team beat world champions Italy 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out in Vienna, Austria.
After the match, Carlos went into the dressing room to congratulate the players.
David Villa, who netted one of the penalties, said: "I had a brief chat with King Juan Carlos and he said he was very happy and wanted to come back to see us win again.

"Let's see if we can do that for Spain - eliminate Russia and head to the finals.
"We suffered greatly, but in the end we're all happy. We've done much for history."
It is the first time Spain have reached the semi-finals of a major tournament for 24 years, often losing on penalty shoot-outs, and Carlos believes they have finally got rid of their jinx.
