"We are playing well, we are in the semi-finals and I hope we will also have the luck that we need and we will win."

After Spain's victory in the quarter-finals against world champions on Sunday (22.06.08), the king went into the dressing room to congratulate the team.

Player David Villa - who came off injured during last night's game and will miss the final - revealed: "I had a brief chat with King Juan Carlos and he said he was very happy and wanted to come back to see us win again.
