Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik was watched by his family as he sailed to victory in a Copenhagen yachting contest at the weekend.
Frederik's wife Princess Mary and their children, 23-month-old Christian, and four-month-old Isabella, sailed alongside him as he took part in the prestigious race on Saturday (01.09.07).
While Frederik had been with his crew aboard the racing vessel Nanoq, Mary and the two children followed in a nearby boat.
Mary is an accomplished sailor, who has previously beaten her husband in regattas on several occasions.
Following his victory Frederik, 39, was pictured proudly cradling Christian and Isabella in his arms.
The race was the final leg of the Rolex Farr40 World Championships, and Frederik's victory left him with a highly impressive top 10 finish overall.
His success meant he achieved his aim of being the top Nordic finisher.
