Jordan's Queen Rania has attended a glamorous dinner party with U2 frontman Bono.
The party was hosted by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni at Carla's family villa in Cap Negre, in the Var region of the French Riviera.
Queen Rania and Bono - who is a prolific human rights and poverty campaigner - met at a location close to the villa before boarding a helicopter, which whisked them to the meal.
‘Vertigo' singer Bono had previously been entertaining celebrity friends including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro on his yacht off the coast of France.
The president and his first lady have been holidaying together in the area since the start of the month and are enjoying their first break together since their wedding in February.
As well as spending time at Carla's family villa, they have also stayed at the official presidential summer residence Fort de Bregancon.
