Britain's Sarah Ferguson hitched a ride with Prime Minister Gordon Brown on a recent flight to New York.
Despite the Prime Minister earlier giving a speech saying he "didn't come into politics to be a celebrity", he and wife Sarah were joined on their plane by the Duchess of York and supermodel Elle Macpherson, who were heading to America to attend Sarah Brown's women-only dinner.
The fund-raising evening was organised for the White Ribbon Alliance, a charity aimed at improving the health of mothers and babies around the world.
Also among the 100 guests at the dinner was Jordan's Queen Rania, who earlier in the day had joined several international dignitaries and activists at the opening plenary session of the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative.

Other attendees at the conference included former US President Bill Clinton and former Vice President Al Gore, U2 singer Bono, Microsoft owner Bill Gates and cyclist Lance Armstrong.
The conference, now in its fourth year, draws world leaders, celebrities, activists and scholars for three days of discussions about pressing global issues such as climate change and poverty and coincides with the UN meetings currently taking place.
