Barry Sloane, who plays villainous Niall Rafferty in 'Hollyoaks', has revealed he is desperate to get a part in 'Coronation Street'.
The actor admits he loves playing a nasty character, and thinks 'Coronation Street' would be the perfect next step for him.
He said: "I'd love to do 'Coronation Street' next - are they looking for a new baddie? Gemma Bissix, who was in 'Hollyoaks', is now in 'EastEnders' so who knows?"
Barry also revealed he is looking forward to filming his revenge scenes with the McQueen family and Myra McQueen, who is his real mother.

He added: "Niall goes to his dad's grave and tells him how much Myra still loves him. But then he gets bitter and begins to worry why she abandoned him if she loved his father so much.
"That's when he vows to exact his big revenge on the McQueens. We start filming next week and I'm so excited! I've also got the late-night specials coming up, so it's a busy time!"
