Big Brother 9: Housemates rent rooms

3 months ago 21st Aug 16:15

The 'Big Brother' housemates must pay rent on the bedrooms, with the luxury room costing £150 and the basic space £15.

The 'Big Brother' housemates must pay rent on the bedrooms. Head of House Rex was given the news when he went to complete the shopping budget, and found the twist hilarious until it was properly explained to him.

Big Brother said: "Due to the credit crunch, Big Brother is now charging rent on the bedrooms."

As Rex laughed, it was explained the rent would be £150 for the luxury bedroom and £15 for the basic one.

However, if Rex opted for the basic bedroom no luxuries - including hair straighteners and hair dryers - would be allowed.

Due to the credit crunch, Big Brother is now charging rent on the bedrooms.

Clearly thinking of his girlfriend Nicole - who is facing eviction on Friday and has told him she wants to look her best if she leaves -Rex chose the luxury bedroom, meaning he had much less to spend on food.

When he left the Diary Room, Rex explained the situation to the other housemates although he was not allowed to tell them which room he had rented.

After hearing the rent prices, Rachel exclaimed: "Let's go back into B Block then."
