My boyfriend of four and a half years swears he never cheated on me but he left me to be with a girl who fell pregnant with his child when we were together.
The baby is due anyday and he is telling me he's made a big mistake and wants me back.
I love him but i can't deal with all his lies anymore and I don't think I can forgive him for his first born child not being with me.
What should i do?
This is a massive betrayal on his part. He has completely lost all of your trust and broken the bond that was between you.
However, love is a strange thing in life, and yours for this man may be strong enough to with-hold your relationship and get through this.
If you are considering this, you need to build that trust back gradually, and neither of you expect to get back where you were straight away.
You are considering taking back a man who cheated on you and left you for another woman? And even worse, this man is now abandoning his pregnant girlfriend to get back with you?
So, as much as you may loathe this woman, what happens to her and their baby?
And if he is planning on taking an active father role, are you happy that his baby joy will be with another woman, and you will be relegated to the sidelines to watch them play happy families?
Will he want to have another baby with you straight away, or will his attentions all be on his first born, born to another woman.
There is a lot more to consider here than I think you have thought of. Be careful, you're setting yourself up for another fall.
