Try sending him a letter, this he can read in his own time and isn't as easy to ignore as aphone call.

Explain that you made a mistake and understand that your feelings weren't reciprocated.

Ask him if you can make a fresh start as just friends and promise to leave well enough alone.

If he won't accept your apology he obviously isn't the person you thought he was and do you really want to be friends with someone who is happy to let you hurt?

Were you in a relationship with your best friend?

If not you can hardly be surprised that he turned down your proposal. If he had no idea about your feelings of course he turned down a proposal!

t yourself on a night out and find a bloke who'd like to be in a relationship with you.

Just leave the proposals for a long way down the line!
